Walk material does not fray which is thanks to the simple and unconventional method of how it is processed. This is why the cutting line can be left open. There is no need to zig zag the hem. Always sew with a small zig zag stitch in order to leave some elasticity to the seam. A band or a support has to be sewn in the shoulder and back neck to prevent the seams from pulling. In case the seam is sewn down, only afterwards cut back the fabric to the seam. Whenever possible trim back one side to about 5mm.
